Analysis the problem of drinking water system that determines the success or failure of chicken raising

The whole process of broiler breeding must ensure uninterrupted water supply for 24 hours. No matter what the reason is, the lack of water supply will affect the growth rate of chickens, thereby affecting the weight of the slaughter. So it is very important to manage the water supply system. So we have to do the following:

1. Observe and count the data on the change of water consumption in the chicken house throughout the day at fixed points every day, compare it with the data of the previous day, and summarize some regular reports.

2.The amount of drinking water can reflect the health status of the flock and the operation of the water line. Indirectly reflect the feeding situation of chickens. Find the cause and solve the problem in a timely manner.

3. During the hot season, sustained high temperatures can cause drinking water to double than normal.

4. In the hot season, clean the water line regularly to ensure the quality of the water in the water pipe as much as possible.

5. The number of the drinker is equipped:

Plasson drinker: at least 8 per 1000 chickens, and 12 drinker are required for 1000 chickens during the brooding period.

Nipple drinker water line: Minimum 83 nipples drinker per 1000 birds. An average of 12 chickens per nipple drinker.

6. The height of the water line is required. During the brooding period, the drinking nipple and the eye of the chicken is at the same height. As the age increases, the water line is raised so that the chicken can drink the best water as soon as its neck is raised.

7. The waterline pressure should be moderate:

If it is too low, the water flow will be insufficient, and the chicken will not be able to drink enough water.

The chick's power to peck the nipple is small, if it is too high,  affecting the drinking water.

8. During the brooding period, we should regularly check the condition of the flock.
